Lightweight,
high-performance, aerospace technology...
need we say more

THIS PUMP IS YET ANOTHER ENTRY into the ranks of lightweight products for racing. Using aerospace technology, it is designed to stand up to speeds of more than 10.000 rpm.
  Among its many new features is a weight reduction of up to 5 pounds compared to other high-performance pumps. Much of the weight reduction has resulted from the new gear design. The gears are manufactured from 7075 T-651 aluminum and feature a seven tooth gear instead of the nine tooth gear in most other designs.
  In addition to the weight reduction, these precision-ground gears provide greater efficiency because of their ability to move higher volumes of oil through the pump. Based on a comparison to other designs, this new Razor Performance pump boasts a 25-percent higher rate of efficiency.

Features
-The pump is internally ported to allow for single line outlet, which provides service to all scavenge areas. The design means a manifold is no longer necessary.
-Brackets are built into the pump, so mounting is simple and easy.
-Fittings are available in AN10-16 sizes and are anodized for extra durability.
-Bearings are designed to withstand speeds of up to 20,000 rpm.

In a side-by-side comparison, the difference in design of the gears is clear, The nine-tooth gear on the left is standard in most pump designs. The gear on the right is the seven-tooth aluminum gear that is the standard for the Razor Performance Product Pump. This gear design results in a significant weight reduction and improved efficiency numbers.

The internal seal of the pump is accomplished with an O-ring. Made from aerospace-quality Viton, the O-ring will form a nonflaking permanent seal for the unit.

Configurations
  In addition to the dry-sump unit, the same basic design is employed in producing other configurations for this pump. It is also available as an external wet-sump unit as well as a differential and transmission pump.

Applications
  Razor's new pump has been approved for competition in NASCAR Winston Cup, NASCAR Busch Grand National, NASCAR Craftsman Truck, ARCA, ASA, CASCAR, World of Outlaws, IHRA, NHRA series.
